One of our trips out to keep the cars going in this strange age of isolation. Up a lane to the west of Loch Ken. The photos were taken on my mobile phone. I find using the phone as a camera is not easy, but it is comparatively small and compact to carry around on a trip like this.
THE EUROPEAN FLAG
THE EUROPEAN UNION
Where is it ?
A reminder from John Ruskin, . . .
“There is no wealth but life. Life, including all its powers of love, of joy, and of admiration. That country is the richest which nourishes the greatest numbers of noble and happy human beings; that man is richest, who, having perfected the functions of his own life to the utmost, has also the widest helpful influence, both personal, and by means of his possessions, over the lives of others.”
From “Unto this Last”, 1860.
