Storm Eunice – pressure chart for midday, 18 Feb 22.
There is a pressure drop from 1020 mb near the north of Spain to 982 mb over northern England – 38 mb. The isobars are packed together over south Wales and southern England. Its going to be very windy there ! NB that the Met Office give 970 mb for the pressure at the centre – ear popping.
