I could find someone to make the call for me, but having done this in the past I know that the caller gets asked ‘techie’ questions which they cannot understand, and it all get very pear shaped. Bear in mind that “the current population of the United Kingdom is 67,817,292 as of Thursday, November 9, 2023, based on Worldometer elaboration of the latest United Nations data”.

In other words – about 1 in every 5 or 6 people you meet is likely to suffer from sort sort of hearing impairment.
