Monday again . . .

The builders were here all week to Friday and finished off the last bit today once the rain stopped. The new TV aerial works a treat and our bank balance looks a bit unhappy. The good thing about the whole operation was that all the tradesmen were very decent chaps and were a pleasure to have about the place. The TV man, who we have had here before, had to trundle in and out quite a bit, but we had a good chinwag with him and he set up the TV set to find all sorts of channels that we know nothing about and probably will never use.

Today the DPD van arrived but we had no idea what he was here to deliver. It turns out to be a bumper bundle from Bettys of all sorts of goodies sent by our son and his partner from Lincolnshire.
